FUNSCAPE's safety surfacing for children's play facilities is installed in playgrounds, parks, and other recreational areas to ensure the safety of users (children). In particular, our products are completely free of hazardous substances and heavy metals. By utilizing eco-friendly materials that exceed regulatory standards, we simultaneously deliver exceptional aesthetics and user safety. Furthermore, FUNSCAPE's safety surfacing is an environmentally sound product combining high-elasticity rubber chips with specialized polyurethane binders, ensuring a clean and safe environment for parks, playgrounds, multi-purpose sports courts, and athletic tracks. It also maintains long-lasting cushioning, serving as an all-weather resilient surface for pedestrian walkways, jogging tracks, promenades, and fitness centers. It provides a lightweight stride for all ages, reduces fatigue, minimizes joint impact and injury risk, and contributes substantially to public health as a superior, wellbeing-focused floor finish system.

What is Critical Fall Height (CFH)? It is an engineering metric that verifies the adequate impact attenuation performance of an impact-absorbing surfacing material through modeled test drops simulating a user's vertical fall onto the surface, Head Injury Criteria (HIC) refers to the maximum vertical height corresponding to a HIC value of 1000. A higher critical fall height alone does not indicate superior product quality; physical properties including minimum tensile strength and flexural deformation must also be satisfied. The graph on the right is based on test values of our product and may vary depending on on-site conditions (temperature, humidity, base layer type, structural strength, etc.).
