Polyurea is an advanced material originally developed in the early 1980s by Texaco (USA). Based on its reaction chemistry, it is classified into Pure Polyurea, Hybrid Polyurea, and Urethane RIM. FUNSCAPE supplies and applies Pure Polyurea, which delivers the highest physical properties and operational performance. Formed through the rapid chain reaction of an isocyanate prepolymer and an amine blend (via high-temperature, high-pressure impingement spray), its ultra-fast reaction rate requires no catalysts.
